The South African Navy is tendering for a permanent Electronic Engineering Technician position at Naval Base Durban. This role is critical for maintaining and repairing the Navy’s electronic systems. The ideal candidate must possess a National Diploma in Engineering, a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification technical experience, and must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician. Key responsibilities include conducting planned maintenance, operating test equipment to diagnose faults, and using software-driven instruments for analysis. REQUIREMENTS:

  • National Diploma in Engineering or relevant qualification
  • 3 years post qualification technical experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Special requirements (Skills needed): Electronic technician experience would be an advantage

  • Conduct planned Maintenance on Electronic Systems

NOTE:
