This is a tender opportunity for an Engineering Technician (Production) Grade A, specializing in Constructive Design, with the South African Navy. Based at the Fleet Command HQ in Simon’s Town, the position offers a salary between R391,671 and R418,332 per annum. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing system advice, defect analysis, integrated concept and detail designs, acceptance trials, and project management services within a naval engineering environment.Key requirements include a National Diploma in Engineering, three years of post-qualification technical experience, and compulsory registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineering Technician. Essential skills include proven experience in a constructive/mechanical engineering field, proficiency in MS Office and CAD software, the ability to compile technical reports, and strong project management capabilities. REQUIREMENTS:
- National Diploma in Engineering or relevant qualification
- 3 years post qualification technical experience
- Valid driver’s license
