South Deep Gold Mine is offering a hands-on Electrical Artisan Learnership for individuals residing in its designated host communities. The programme provides comprehensive technical training and practical work experience to develop qualified electricians. Applicants must have a Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science, a full N3 qualification with specific trade subjects (Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Science, Electrical Trade Theory, Industrial Electronics), and must be medically fit. About the Learnership
This opportunity is open to individuals residing in South Deep’s host communities and offers hands-on training and theoretical knowledge to help learners become qualified artisans in the electrical trade. AND must have passed all 4 N3 trade-specific subjects required by the MQA and South Deep Gold Mine.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science
- Full N3 qualification with the following subjects:
- Engineering Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory
- Industrial Electronics
- Must be medically fit for the mine environment and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre
- Attach all relevant certificates with your CV
