This is a tender opportunity for a two-year Finance Management Grant Internship (MFMIP) within the Ngqushwa Municipality in Peddie, Eastern Cape. The programme aims to build capacity in municipal finance in line with the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA). The successful candidate will be based in the Office of the Municipal Manager and will receive an annual stipend of R91,275.60. Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years old and possess a three-year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma with majors in Internal Auditing, Accounting, or Risk Management. The Finance Management Internship Programme (MFMIP) is a structured two-year programme offering high-quality training and workplace experience in municipal finance. It is designed to build capacity in the financial management functions of municipalities and is guided by the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act 56 of 2003.

Minimum Requirements:
- A three-year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma with majors in:
- Internal Auditing

- Will be required to sign an internship agreement in addition to the employment contract
- Commitment to full participation in educational and workplace assignments
- Understanding and adherence to workplace policies and procedures
