Polokwane Local Municipality, in partnership with the National Treasury, is offering a three-year fixed-term contract opportunity for unemployed graduates in the field of Construction Project Management. This programme is aimed at South African citizens under the age of 35 who hold a minimum qualification of a BSc, Honours, or Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant construction discipline (NQF Level 8). Applicants must be unemployed, reside within the municipality’s jurisdiction, and possess a valid ID. A driver’s license is advantageous. Applications must be hand-delivered with the required documentation to the Civic Centre by the closing date of 31 March 2025.

Polokwane Local Municipality, jointly with the Department of National Treasury, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified unemployed graduates to participates in a three (03) years fixed term contract programme in various disciplines.

Requirements

  • Applicant must be unemployed
  • A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
  • Must be a South African citizen in possession of the valid South African Identity document and falling within the jurisdiction of Polokwane Local Municipality.
  • Must be under the age of 35.
  • Academic qualification must be in line with the professional registration requirements of the respective statutory councils.
  • Stamped original proof of residence (Letter from Traditional Local Authority or Municipal utility bill).
